We are sorry for not replying to you sooner.
Regarding with’粟ケ岳県民休養地キャンプ場’, it is available without booking, and the people just use the vacant sites freely.
Only for our record, we would like you to write down your name on the guest book at the administrative building.
The camp site equips the camping kitchen and the water supply only.
However, there is no rental outdoor gear shop in Kamo.
Please make sure to prepare in advance and bring all of your camping gears with you.
Regrettably we also have to note updated alerting information.
Recently, the bears have been seen unusually around that area.
We have been cautious of them among the local residents and visitors though there have been no restriction for using the camp site or even hiking so far.
Please be noted and be careful with the bears just in case if in use.
Additionally, there will be the summer festival in Kamo city where the camp site belongs on the 14th August,
The Kamo River running through the downtown of the city will be the main site of the festival, and there will be a lot of events.
Especially at night time, we will have the local folk dance on the river banks and fireworks, which would be worth seeing if you are in Kamo on that day.

水源池第1ダムの水面に映る粟ヶ岳は四季折々に美しい表情を見せてくれます。
